Our Story
Tawala was founded in Dar es Salaam by a team of Tanzanian software engineers who saw a gap in the market. Most business software available was either too expensive, too complicated, or designed for markets outside Africa.
We set out to build something different—a complete business operating system that understands Tanzanian businesses. From TRA VFD compliance to mobile money integration, every feature is designed with local needs in mind.
